There's no automatic filter. Someone from the team in that area reads it in full and decides whether there's a fit now, later, or not.
A conversation about real work
If there's a fit, we talk through a real problem the team has, not riddles. We tell you beforehand what will be assessed.
A decision in writing
Yes or no, we tell you in writing, with the reason. A "no" now can become a "yes" once the team changes.

We work with an open application instead of posting closed listings. Every application is kept in our talent pool, and it's the first thing we check when a team needs to hire.
Yes. We work remotely and asynchronously by default: what's evaluated is the work delivered, not hours online. Some roles may require overlapping part of your schedule with the rest of the team, and we'll tell you before the conversation.
The day-to-day working language is Spanish, and we write a lot, so writing clearly matters. Technical English is needed in engineering and AI.
Yes. We reply to every application by email, including when the answer is that there's no fit right now.
Yes, through the STEP program, in partnership with Spanish vocational training (FP) schools for DAM students. Places are requested by the school through valfiguer.com/step, not by the student directly.
We only use it to assess your application and contact you about it. We keep it for up to 12 months, and you can ask us to delete it at any time by writing to legal@valfiguer.com.
